Reflection #10

On 17 February, Mr. Sadrakh checked our homework about the melody and the blog. My melody is already done but I forgot to put it on finale, and about the blog I've already made it but it is still blank. I will make the finale on this Saturday, and I will make the reflection on my blog.

Reflection #9

On 15 February 2012, Mr. Herry  used the 2 session for explain about the finale. So, there is no instrument class. But, it's okay because we can know more about finale and understand about some of the function. And now I understand about some of the function in finale.

Reflection #8

On 10 February 2012, Mr. Sadrakh taught us about chords which is C, D, E, F, G, and A chord. Chord is a two to three or more notes that is heard as if sounding simultaneously. I don't understand about this at first. But, when I try to memorize it, I can remember it only some of them.

Reflection #7

On 8 February 2012, Mr. Sadrakh told us about how to use a finale software. It's very useful for me because it is help me to make the melody or tablatures easier. I never heard about Finale before, so it's hard for me to use it. Then, I asked my friend, Henry to help me how to use the finale software. Actually we have to purchase this software, but I asked Mr. Sadrakh and Mr. Hary to help me to install the finale.

Reflection #5

On 1 February 2012,  Mr. Sadrakh  told us about chords and natural scale. I never learnt about chords because I'm a new student, but Mr. Sadrakh taught us for a long time about chords and I understand what chord is. But, I still forgot what is chord 1 or chord 5, etc.

Reflection #4

On 27 January 2012, I learnt about music notation. I forgot about music notation, but when Mr.Sadrakh told me about music notation now I understand what music notation is. Actually, music notation is the basic thing that we have to know but it's a little bit hard for me because the last time that i studied about this topic is in grade 5.

Reflection #3

On  25 January 2012,  me and my partner (Khairy) sing the Indonesian official song which is "Hari Merdeka" for our assessment. It's easy because every independence day in Indonesia we sing that song, which is in 17 August. But, I'm disappointed with my score, because my partner and I were laughing when we sing that song. Next time, if there is any assessment I have to be more serious and be more concentrate.

Reflection #2

On 20 January 2012, we have to submit the homework about interval to Mr. Sadrakh that was given on 18 January 2012. Then, we also practicing the Indonesian official song for our assessment next week. It's easy to sing the Indonesian official song but we have to memorize it again for having a better score.

Reflection #1

On 18 January 2012, Mr. Sadrakh taught us about interval. I already know about interval because in my previous school, my old music teacher taught me about interval too. But, since i moved to binus I forgot what interval is. And now, I understand what it  is because actually it's not that hard to understand it. Then, at the end of the class Mr. Sadrakh gave us homework about interval.
